MANAGER (LEGAL), LEGAL ADVISORY AND COMPLIANCE
We are looking for versatile lawyers who have an interest in the field of international dispute resolution, and possess multi-disciplinary skills and talents, able to work both in a team setting and as an individual contributor.

We are looking for versatile lawyers who have an interest in the field of international dispute resolution, and possess multi-disciplinary skills and talents, able to work both in a team setting and as an individual contributor.
Job responsibilities:
• | Develop, review, and implement policies, guidelines and initiatives to ensure compliance with local and international laws and regulations in countries where SIAC operates |
• | Provide advisory support (including liaising with external law firms where necessary) to Management on Legal and Compliance matters |
• | Liaise with regulators and external auditors on compliance matters |
• | Develop, design, and deliver effective compliance training programs to build a positive culture of compliance |
• | Conduct regular compliance reviews and audits |
• | Lead and conduct investigations on compliance issues |
• | Ensure that compliance audit findings are being addressed adequately and in a timely manner |
• | Review and vet legal contracts and agreements |
• | Conduct legal research |
• | Keep abreast of new laws and regulations in countries where SIAC operates and lead in the creation and implementation of relevant and necessary action plans |
• | Develop relevant risk management strategies |
• | Support other aspects of the work of the Strategy and Development Group as assigned, including SIAC outreach activities and other promotional work. |
Qualifications: |

• | Degree in Law |
• | In-house counsel or private sector experience is relevant for this role |
• | Minimum 3 years of proven track record in Legal and Compliance |
• | Strong knowledge of privacy laws, anti-money laundering laws and sanctions; relevant experience in a global setting is preferred |
• | Demonstrated skills in leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder management |
• | A good team player |
• | Strong communication and interpersonal skills |
